Crews compete at NE racing event

WORCESTER, Mass. --- The Colby College crews raced against the best of New England as the men's varsity eight made the petite final and the women rowed in a third final race at the New England Rowing Championships.

After finishing sixth of six in a heat with a time of 6:28.391, the Colby men took fifth in the petite final in 6:47.484. Meanwhile, the women's varsity eight took fifth out of five in heat 3 and the closed with a 8:08.725 in the third final.

The women's varisty four took third place in the petite final in 9:01.080 and were fifth in their heat. The men's novice four placed fifth in their heat in 7:31.42.
