Crews open up at Textile Rivera Regatta

LOWELL, Mass. --- The Colby College men's varsity crew placed sixth and the women took eighth at the season-opening Textile River Regatta on Sunday.

The Colby men had a time of 14 minutes, 46.565 seconds to take sixth out of nine boats in the men's club 8 race. Meanwhile, the Colby women were eighth out of 15 boats with a clocking of 16:22.134.

In other racing, the Colby men's open 4 boat took sixth place out of 26 boats with a time of 15:43.614.

Colby heads to the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta this Saturday in Worcester, Mass.
