King 13th for Colby women at Open NE meet

BOSTON, Mass. --- Anna King placed 13th out of 299 finishers for the Colby College women's cross country team at the New England Open Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Franklin Park.

The Colby women placed 18th out of 44 teams as King had a time of 18:42 over the women's 5-kilometer course. Amanda Ivey was 49th in 19:23 for the Mules. The race included colleges from Division I, II, and III schools.

The Colby men raced in the varsity 'B' race and Chris Darrah was the top finisher at 80th place in 27:58 over the 8-kilometer course.
