GRAY, Maine --- John Hall won among senior racers and tied for the second-best time of the day for the Colby College men's cross country team in a 35-19 loss to Bates College in the Class Wave Relay Carnival on Saturday at Pineland Farms.
Hall finished the 2.83-mile course in 14 minutes, 49 seconds and was one of just four runners to break 15 minutes. The meet was broken down into class years.
Chris DeRoo took third in the senior race for Colby in 15:12, while John DeAscentis placed fourth in the sophomore race with a 15:45. Matt Nadeau took fifth among Colby first-year runners with a time of 15:50.
