Field hockey shuts out St. Joseph's

STANDISH, Maine ---­ Frazer Humes and Jennifer Reilly scored 1:01 apart in the first seven minutes of the game to lead the Colby College field hockey team to a 3-0 victory over St. Joseph's College in non-conference play Wednesday.

Humes scored just 5:39 into the game with an unassisted goal. Reilly followed that up at the 6:40 mark off an assist from Chelsea Rosenheimer.

The Mules (4-9) took a 2-0 lead into halftime and then got a goal from Ashley Wagner from Reilly about 20 minutes into the second half.

Jamie Enos made three saves for the Colby shutout.
