WATERVILLE, Maine -- Colby College senior Jamie Enos (Brooks School/South Hamilton, Mass.) and junior Mary Clare Snediker (Greenwich School/New Canaan, Conn.) were both selected to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Field Hockey All-Conference Team on Wednesday.

Enos was named to the first team, while Snediker earned a second team honor for the third straight year.

Enos started her career at Colby as the NESCAC Co-Rookie of the Year in 2004 and earned all-conference second team honors in 2005. Enos finished her career with 434 saves in 45 games, 14 victories, and six shutouts.

Enos led the NESCAC this season in saves per game (9.38) and was fourth in save percentage (.813) for Colby (5-9).

Snediker has been a model of consistency in her three years with the Mules. She had eight goals this season after scoring nine in 2005 and nine in 2006. Snediker heads into her final season of field hockey next year with 26 career goals.

Snediker and Enos also play together on Colby’s women’s lacrosse team.
