WATERVILLE, Maine --- Billy Pettengill and Alex Hymanson combined for the best score of the day with a 72 to lead the Colby College White team to a victory in the Colby Classic at the Waterville Country Club on Sunday. The tourney format was best ball for holes one to six, scramble for holes seven to 12, and alternate shot for 13 to 18. Harry Smith and Thomas Lampert finished with a 75 for the Colby White, while Tripp Huber and Taggert Martin had a 76. The Colby White team also won the Colby Invitational on Saturday at WCC. Jake Brown and CJ Bergeron of St. Joseph's College shot a 73, and University of Maine at Presque Isle's Mike Balmer and Dylan Flewelling also had a 73. Maine-Farmington finished second in the tourney as Nick Waltz and Reid Bond carded a 74 as did teammates Rich Mathews and Orion Cochrane. Colby Classic at Waterville Country Club Team scores 1.
