Golf team takes seventh at Maine tourney

VASSALBORO, Maine --- The Colby College golf team placed seventh out of 12 teams behind the play of Hans Noering at the Maine State Championships this past weekend at Natanis Golf Course.

Noering shot an 81 on the first day and closed with an 88 for a total of 169. Charlie Diamond added a 180, Sam Rouleau carded a 182, and John Wagner finished with a 183 (84 on the first day).

Husson won the title with a score of 625. The Mules finished at 704.
