Carden leads Colby women's golfers at WCC

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Meridith Carden was tied for second with a 97 for Colby College as the Mules placed second to Bates College and defeated Bowdoin College in a women's golf meet Friday at Waterville Country Club.
Whitney Roller shot a 91 for Bates for the top score of the day. The Bobcats had a modified score of 33 and was followed by Colby (26), and Bowdoin (9). The Bobcats had a stroke score of 312, Colby was at 315, and Bowdoin finished with 231 with two golfers. Carden and Elizabeth Wilcox of Bates both had a 97. Andrea Heidt finished with a 101 for Colby, while Sarah Warner of Bowdoin was fifth with a 115. Team scores (modified) Bates 33, Colby 26, Bowdoin 9 Individual results 1.
