WATERVILLE, MAINE --- Sam Rouleau and Hans Noering joined forces for a 72 to help the Colby College golf team place second out of six teams at the Colby Classic on Sunday at the Waterville Country Club.
Adam Packard and Chris Hamel combined for a 71 for the top score of the day to help Husson College win the tourney.
The six teams had three pairings who played best ball for holes 1 to 6, alternate for holes 7 to 12, and scramble for holes 13 to 18.
Husson finished with a score of 225 to beat Colby by five strokes and Bates College by six.
The other Colby pairings of Gus Thompson and Connor Tubridy and the third pairing of Nick Spillane and John Wagner each shot a 79.
