Noering, Rouleau lead Colby golf team

BRUNSWICK, Maine --­ Sophomores Hans Noering (Cohasset, Mass.) and Sam Rouleau (North Berwick, Maine) each had a two-day total of 170 for the Colby College golf team at the Bowdoin College Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

Rouleau shot an 80 and Noering carded an 82 on Saturday. The best round of the tourney for Colby was a 79 on Sunday by Nick Spillane (Darien, Conn.). Spillane finished with a 176 total, John Wagner (Gardner, Mass.) added a 180, and Connor Tubridy (Pomfret, Conn.) had a 181.

Husson College won the 13-team tourney with a score of 611. Colby finished 11th with a 680 and was just four strokes out of 10th place.
