Julian earns All-NESCAC hockey honor

WATERVILLE, Maine --- For the second straight year, Colby College’s Becky Julian (Westminster School/South Windsor, Conn.) is a New England Small College Athletic Conference Women’s Hockey All-Conference selection after being honored Thursday.

Julian was named to the second team for the second straight season. She also is an All-NESCAC and All-American in women’s lacrosse at Colby.

Julian leads the Mules in goals with 20 and has nine assists for 29 points. She also leads the squad in game-winning goals (4), power play goals (4), and short-handed goals (2). Julian has 66 goals and 45 assists for 111 career points.

Colby has a 51-38-12 record in Julian’s four years heading into a NESCAC semifinal game this Saturday. The fourth-seeded Mules (12-10-3) play second-seeded Middlebury College at 3:30 p.m. at Amherst College. Colby has been to the NESCAC semifinals in three of Julian’s four seasons.
