Middlebury defeats Colby men's basketball

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. --- Nick Farrell had his second straight 30-plus point game with 32 points, but the Colby College men's basketball team fell 100-93 to Middlebury College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Friday.
Farrell, who had a collegiate-high 35 points against Maine Maritime Academy on Tuesday, was 7-for-13 from 3-point range. Mac Simpson, Adam Choice and Drew Cohen all had 15 points for the Mules (8-7, 0-1). Artie Cutrone and Michael Westbrooks both had eight points. Evan Thompson had 24 points for Middlebury (10-3, 1-0 NESCAC) and Aaron Smith added 20 points and 11 rebounds. Andrew Harris finished with 17 points.
