HARTFORD, Conn. --- The Colby College men's basketball team struggled for the second straight day in the second half after falling 72-40 to Trinity College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday.

The Mules fall to 9-10 overall and 1-4 in the conference, while Trinity moves to 11-9 overall and 2-3 in the league.

Mike Russell led Colby with 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting and finished with a game-high six rebounds. Christian Van Loenen shot 8-for-9 from the foul line to finish with 10 points and Jesse Coulon came off the bench with six points on 2-for-3 shooting from 3-point range.
