HARTFORD, Conn. --- Just seconds after Colby College's Artie Cutrone put his team on top, Trinity College's Aaron Westbrooks nailed a 3-point shot at the buzzer to give the Bantams a 74-72 win over the Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday.
Cutrone scored with six seconds left to give the Mules (10-10, 1-5 NESCAC) a 72-71 margin, but Westbrooks nailed his big shot for the game-winning points. Adam Choice led Colby with 21 points, including a 12-for-12 effort from the foul line, and added seven rebounds. Mac Simpson added 17 points and three assists, while Cutrone had 11 points. Colby shot 22-for-23 from the free-throw line, but Trinity was solid as well at 17-for-19.
