WATERVILLE, Maine --- Mike Russell (Wellesley, Mass.) and Adam Choice (Newport, R.I.) did most of the damage with 27 points apiece, but it was teammate Justin Sherman (Piedmont, Calif.) who had the deciding blow after nailing a jumper from the right side with 13 seconds remaining to lead the Colby College men's basketball team to a 71-69 victory over local rival Thomas College on Tuesday night at Wadsworth Gymnasium.

Colby, which trailed 34-25 at halftime and were behind by double digits for a good portion of the second half, improves to 17-4 overall. Thomas falls to 14-6.
