WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby men's hockey team battled back from a 4-0 deficit to make it 5-3, but Williams College held on for a 6-3 win on Saturday at Alfond Rink.
Brandon Jackmuff (Woodbury, N.J.) and Chris DeBaere (Natick, Mass.) both had two goals for Williams (4-6-1). The Ephs led 1-0 after one period and added three goals in the second period for a 4-0 margin. Colby (6-5-2) got as close as 5-3 at 9:02 of the third period on a goal by Joe Rothwell (Unionville, Ontario), but Jackmuff scored at 10:11 for the game's final goal. Josh Reber and Arthur Fritch also tallied for the Mules.
