WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- The Colby College men's hockey team pounded 65 shots on goal and got big performances from Josh Reber and T.J. Kelley in a 7-5 win over Williams College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Friday night.
Reber had two goals and three assists, while Kelley finished with one goal and three assists. First-year player Billy Crinnion scored two goals.
Colby led 2-1 after one period and 4-3 after 40 minutes. Jared Crittenden scored just 17 seconds into the third period on a short-handed goal that gave the Mules life. Colby received two more goals by Joe Rothwell and Kelley in the next 5:12 to put the game away at 7-3.
Cody McKinney stopped 33 shots for Colby (7-5), which was 3-for-7 on the power play and scored a short-handed goal.
