NEW LONDON, Conn. --- Wil Hartigan scored two power play goals and the Colby College men's hockey team twice fought back from deficits to pull out a 5-3 road win at Connecticut College on Friday night.
The Mules move to 5-8-1 overall and 4-5-1 in the conference heading into Saturday's 4 p.m. game at Tufts University.
Colby battled back from 2-1 and 3-2 deficits in pulling out the victory. The Mules actually led 1-0 after one period on Tom McGinn's fifth goal of the season.
Conn College scored two straight goals to take the lead in the second period, but Hartigan tied the game at 17:38 with his seventh goal of the season.
The Camels led 3-2 after Dawson Luke scored just 3:33 into the third period. However, the Mules took over the scoring after that goal. Hartigan tied the game with his second power play goal at 11:01 and then Karl Burns notched the game-winning goal at 13:16 on the power play. Mike Doherty added an empty net goal with three seconds left.
