BABSON PARK, Mass. --- Babson College used three straight goals at the end of the second period and in the first 10 minutes of the third to pull away for a 5-3 victory over Colby College in men's hockey Saturday.

Colby's Eric Simmons had tied the game at 2-2 at 12:57 of the second period. Babson (2-0) went ahead for good when Jason Schneider scored with just 53 seconds left in the period.

Babson scored 34 seconds into the third period and added another goal at 9:10 to go up 5-2. Colby first-year player Wil Hartigan got the final goal of the game.
