CLINTON, N.Y. --- The Colby College men's hockey team scored just 23 seconds into the game, but Hamilton College scored four times in the third period to pull out a 5-3 win over the Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Friday night.
Colby (9-7-2) scored first when Arthur Fritch tallied unassisted just 23 seconds into the game. Jerome Wallace scored the first of his two goals at the 4:50 mark of the opening period to tie the game. The rest of the scoring happened in the third period. The Continentals went up 4-1 on three straight goals in the opening 10:27 of play in the third. Colby battled back with goals by Josh Reber and Greg Osborne, but Hamilton added an insurance goal with 2:11 remaining.
