Men's soccer falls at Amherst

AMHERST, Mass. --- Ryan O'Donnell's first-half goal proved to be the winner as the Amherst College men's soccer team added a second-half goal for a 2-0 victory over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday.

The Mules fall to 3-5-2 overall and 1-5-1 in the conference. Amherst moved to 11-1 this season.

O'Donnell scored at 27:41 of the first half off an assist from Mike Wohl. The Jeffs added the insurance goal at 63:41 when Wohl tallied off a pass from Nick Lynch.

Josh Kahane made eight saves in goal for Colby, which will play host to University of Maine at Farmington this Thursday 3:30 p.m.
