WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College co-captain Tom Milaschewski (Beverly, Mass.) helped the defense post a shutout and scored the lone goal of the match as the Mules took a 1-0 victory over Connecticut College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday. Milaschewski, a senior defender, tallied for the first time this season at 56:05 of the contest off assists from Todd Boertzel (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) and Nate Seiberling (Sharon, Mass.). Boertzel had a ball played back to him after taking a corner kick and his cross skimmed off the head of Seiberling and went to Milaschewski at the far post for the goal. Dan Marden (Londonderry, N.H.) took advantage of a start in goal and made five saves in net for Colby (5-5, 2-4 NESCAC). Ted Lane (Portland, Ore.) stopped three shots for the Camels (5-6, 3-4). Colby will play host to Williams College at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
