WATERVILLE, Maine --- The fourth-ranked Williams College men's soccer team stayed unbeaten with two second-half goals to take a 2-0 victory over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Sunday.
Williams is 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the conference, while Colby falls to 2-4-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the league. After a scoreless first half, Dana Leary (Washington, D.C.) got the eventual game-winning goal off assists from Ryan Pelletier (York, Maine) and Brett Olsen (Norwell, Mass.) just 4:58 into the second half. Patrick Huffer (Boulder, Colo.) got an insurance goal off a pass from John Hillman (La Jolla, Calif.) with 22:32 left in the game. Greg Walker (North Vancouver, B.C.) stopped four shots for the Williams shutout. Josh Kahane (Newton, Mass.) made nine saves for Colby.
