MIDDLETOWN, Conn. --- After holding nationally fifth-ranked Wesleyan University off the scoreboard for 25 minutes, the Colby College men's soccer team allowed three goals the rest of the half as the Cardinals took a 5-0 win in a New England Small College Athletic Conference quarterfinal game Sunday. The Mules finish the season at 5-8-2 after making the NESCAC playoffs for the first time. Wesleyan will host the NESCAC Final Four next weekend after improving to 11-0-4. Walter Rodriguez had two goals for Wesleyan, which scored three times in a span of 10 minutes to go up 3-0 in the opening half. Rodriguez added a penalty kick in the second half. Dan Marden and Doug Sibor combined for seven saves for Colby.
