WATERVILLE, Maine --- Williams College scored three goals off corner kicks, including two from Conor Smith (Yardley, Pa.), in taking a 6-0 victory over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference men's soccer Saturday. Williams, ranked 19th nationally and third in New England, is 4-0-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the conference. The Mules fall to 1-3-1 overall and 0-3 in the league. Colby is right back in action on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Bowdoin College in another league game. Smith scored at 13:18 for what proved to be the game-winning goal off the first of three assists on the day from Gaston Kelly (Hingham, Mass.). The Ephs made it 2-0 at halftime when Peter Houston (East Lansing, Mich.) scored on a breakaway off a feed from Daniel Morrisroe (Riverside, Conn.). Williams scored three goals in a span of 4:02 to go up 5-0. Nick Pugliese (Rochester, N.Y.) scored at 53:45, Pierre Meloty-Kapella (Redwood City, Calif.) scored 1:04 later at 54:49, and Smith got another head ball goal off a Kelly corner kick at 57:47. David Reison (Chappaqua, N.Y.) got the final Williams goal.
