WATERVILLE, Maine --- Alex Burnham (North Yarmouth, Maine) played a part in all three goals as the University of Southern Maine men's soccer team got an early goal on the way to a 3-0 non-conference win over Colby College on Wednesday. Burnham finished with one goal and two assists for the Huskies, who are 5-4 overall and winners of three straight games. He scored the first on a breakaway after taking a pass from back Matt Powers (Strafford, N.H.) just 4:13 into the game. Colby had a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks and USM only had a shot advantage by one over the Mules. The Mules (1-5-1) head to Middlebury College for a 1 p.m. game (new start time).
