WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College's Jake Leiby won the first position match in five games, including a 9-0 win in the final game, as the Mules fell 7-2 to Bowdoin College in men's squash on Thursday.
Leiby fell behind twice in the match in games. He lost 10-8 in the opening game to Chris Nehrbas, but bounced back for a 9-2 victory in the second game. After Nehrbas easily won 9-1 in the third game, Leiby battled for a 10-9 win in the fourth game and then had a shutout in the final game. Harry Goldstein had the other win for the Mules (5-11) at the fifth position. He lost the opening game only to storm back for three straight game wins.
