Smith leads men's squash to two victories

BOSTON, Mass. --- Harry Smith won his opening two matches at the first position spot as the Colby College men's squash team cruised to a 7-2 win over MIT and a 6-3 victory against Northeastern University on Saturday.

Nat Cooper, Daniel Lesser, Ken Cramer, and Pete Gabranski also went 2-0 for the Mules. Cooper worked the longest of all the Colby players, winning a 3-2 match at the third spot against Northeastern and posting a 3-1 win against MIT. Cooper trailed 2-1 in his Northeastern match and fought back for 11-5 and 12-10 wins in the final two games.

Will Sullivan, William Greenberg, and Stephen Nodder all went 1-1 for Colby, which is now off until January.
