Men's squash tops Stanford at national meet

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --- The 22nd-ranked Colby College men's squash team received a nice come-from-behind win from Alex Fulton at the third position in a 7-2 win over 23rd-ranked Stanford University in a consolation bracket match at the National Team Championships on Saturday at Harvard.

Colby will play in the consolation final at 9 a.m. Sunday against either No. 20 Columbia University or 24th-ranked Hamilton College.

Fulton lost the first two games in his match and then stormed back with 11-7, 11-6, 11-8 wins to pull out the victory. Harry Smith won at the first spot for Colby in four games as did Nat Cooper at four. Daniel Lesser, Will Hochman, Steve Carroll, and Peter Gabranski also had wins for the Mules.
