ORLANDO, Fla. --- With the match tied at 4-4, Colby College's Dan Freeman fought from behind to pull out a victory at first singles and help the Mules secure the match in a 5-4 victory over Lawrence on Wednesday in non-conference men's tennis.
Freeman lost 7-5 in the first set only to battle back for a 7-6 (0) win in the second set. He closed out the match with a 6-4 victory in the third set to help Colby pull out the team win.
Robert Yee also lost the first set and came back in the next two sets to pull out a win at fifth singles for the Mules. Matthew Mantikas and Joe Albano also had singles wins, while Yee and Phillip Zunshine won the third doubles match.
