Mantikas earns lone win for men's tennis

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Matthew Mantikas won the fifth singles match for the Colby College men's tennis team, but Bowdoin College took an 8-1 win over the Mules in NESCAC play Saturday.

Mantikas took a 4-6, 6-2, 10-3 (pro set) win against Peter Davis. Jack Bryant and Sam Bachelder had tight matches for Colby.

The Polar Bears improve to 11-5 overall and 6-3 in conference play, while the Mules are 8-5 overall and 3-5 in league play.
