Men's tennis swings past Wesleyan

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. --- Brody Saunders was a winner at first singles and Zack Schuman took a victory at the second spot to lead the Colby College men's tennis team to a 5-2 win over Wesleyan University on Saturday.

Sauders lost the first set and then won the next two at 6-4 and 7-6. Saunders and Schuman also teamed up at fist doubles for a 9-7 victory.

The Mules (5-3 this spring) also got wins from Alex Chin and Tim Fuhriman in second doubles and the third doubles team of Tom Gildersleeve and Nick Rosen Wachs. The fifth and sixth singles matches were not played after Colby clinched the match.
