DeRoo leads men's track at meet

NEW LONDON, Conn. --- Chris DeRoo placed sixth in the 400-meter run and helped a relay team finish fifth for Colby College at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Connecticut College.

DeRoo had a time of 50.22 in the 400 meters, while teammate David Lowe placed seventh in the 400 hurdles in 56.68. Tucker Cushing was ninth in the pole vault with a leap of 12-3.25.

The 1,600 relay team of Mike Reilly, Lowe, Ben Ossoff, and DeRoo were fifth in a clocking of 3:25.22.
