Wiseman fourth in pole vault at Open NE meet

DEDHAM, Mass. --- Colby's College's Trent Wiseman finished in fourth place in the pole vault in his first Open New England Men's Outdoor Track and Field  Championships on Saturday in a meet hosted by Northeastern University.

Wiseman had a leap of 14-8.75, the same jump he had in the New England Small College Athletic Conference meet. Southern Maine's Orion Winkler won with a leap of 15-2.75. Wiseman has jumped 15-5 this year indoors.

Wiseman picked up five points for the placing and helped the Colby men finish 29^th out of 39 scoring teams in the meet featuring Division I, II, and III teams.
