NEWRY, Maine --- Jake Barton finished in 15th place and Wyatt Fereday was closed behind in 18th for the Colby College men's Nordic ski team as the Mules placed fifth in the 20-kilometer classic mass start at the Eastern Championships (Bates Carnival) on Sunday. Barton finished in 1:04:49.0 to help the Colby men finish with 70 points, while Fereday clocked a 1:05:03.5. For the Colby women, Lizzie Anderson took 25th place (56:24.8) and Olga Golovkina was behind her in 26th (56:28.1) as the Mules placed 10th in the 15K classic mass start.
