STOWE, Vt. --- Wyatt Fereday had his best finish of the season for the Colby College men's Nordic team in helping the Mules place fifth out of 13 teams in the 10-kilometer freestyle race on Saturday at Stowe in the University of Vermont Ski Carnival.

Fereday had a time of 27 minutes, 23.1 seconds to take 11th place, while teammate Jake Barton was 24th in 28:14.0. The Mules finished with 68 points, one better than both University of New Hampshire and Bowdoin College.

For the Colby women, Olga Golovkina was 30th in the 5K freestyle and Lizzie Anderson placed 33rd as the Mules were ninth overall.
