Fereday, Barton finish up at NCAA meet

STOWE, Vt. --- Wyatt Fereday placed 24^th and teammate Jake Barton was two back in 26^th as the Colby College skiers competed in the 20-kilometer classic mass start on Friday at the NCAA Skiing Championships.

Fereday, finishing up his third NCAA meet of his four-year career at Colby, had a time of 1 hour, 8 minutes, 13.6 seconds over the 20K course. Barton finished in 1:08:56.1 for Colby head coach Tracey Cote.

The Mules picked up 30 points for the day and finished in 11^th place out of 17 scoring teams. In team scoring (Nordic and alpine combined), Colby ranks in 15^th place with a full team of three alpine skiers going in the slalom on Saturday.
