WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College graduate Dan Oliphant's fine play on the offensive line for the Manchester (N.H.) Wolves earned him a spot on the All-arenafootball2 league American Conference Second Team.

Oliphant (Chatham, N.J.), a 2005 Colby graduate, has helped Manchester (10-7) win eight of its last nine games heading into Saturday's American Conference semifinal playoff game at the Green Bay Blizzard at 8:30 p.m.

Oliphant, at 6-foot-6 and 330 pounds, has been called "the undeniable presence on the offensive line" by Manchester head coach Danton Barto. Oliphant has started all 17 games, including the first 13 contests at center. He then made the switch to guard for the last three regular season games and the playoff game.

Oliphant, who previously played 10 games for the af2's Laredo Lobos, was a senior co-captain and three-year starter on the offensive line at Colby. He earned All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) honors after his junior and senior seasons. Oliphant also played in the Aztec Bowl, a Division III senior all-star game in Mexico. Oliphant helped Colby go 18-6 over his three years as a starter and he earned the Millett Award for the senior who contributes the most to Colby athletics in four years.
