Reardon 18th in pole vault at NCAA meet
DELAWARE, Ohio --- Colby College's Brittany Reardon finished in a tie for 18th place in the women's pole vault at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships on Friday. Reardon, who just completed her first year at Colby, had a leap of 10 feet, 7.5 inches in the field of 25 vaulters. Moravian's Abigail Schaffer won the national title with a jump of 13-7. She was tied with Linfield's Catherine Street with the same height, but Schaffer had fewer misses to win the event. Colby high jumper Danielle Sheppard, who just graduated last Sunday, will compete on Saturday.
