HARTFORD, Conn. --- Colby College's Alex Essman hit a home run and went 3-for-3, but Trinity College scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull out a 4-2 win in the nightcap of a doubleheader on Saturday. Trinity also won the first game by an 8-0 score in five innings. Colby falls to 4-13 overall and 0-3 in the NESCAC East. Essman had a single and double to go along with her homer and scored both of Colby's runs. She scored the other run on an RBI double by Jen Goldman. Allyson Cheever had two hits for the Mules and Barbara Santos also doubled. Colby had a 2-0 lead at one point before the Bantams scored one run in the fourth and the three in the sixth.
