WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- Junior All-American Kelly Norsworthy and sophomore Kelsey Potdevin will each look to defend their championships when the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Swimming and Diving Championships begin Friday and end Sunday at Williams College.

The Colby women finished sixth at last year's meet, but were just 19.5 points out of fifth place. Norsworthy won the 50 breaststroke (29.15) and the 200 breaststroke (2:20.21) while taking second in the 100 breaststroke. Potdevin had a time of 27.82 in taking the 50 backstroke.
Williams has won the meet the past six years.
Competition will get underway each day with preliminary heats at 10:00 a.m. Finals will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 5:50 p.m. Saturday, and a 5:30 p.m. start on Sunday. Tickets are $4 per session or $20 for a weekend pass for adults and $2 per session or $8 for the weekend for children and students. Doors will open two hours prior to the heats and finals.
