WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- Colby College junior All-American Kelly Norsworthy was unbeatable in the breaststroke this weekend at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at Williams College on Sunday.
Norsworthy made it three wins in three races after capturing the 200-yard breaststroke in an NCAA 'B' cut qualifying time of 2:22.40. She just missed the automatic qualifying time of 2:22.03, but still won the race by nearly three seconds. Norsworthy won the 50 breaststroke on Friday and the 100 breaststroke Saturday.
Norsworthy tied Amherst College's Brittany Sasser and Middlebury College's Marika Ross for the most total individual points in the meet with 96 apiece.
Colby finished in sixth place out of 11 teams with 739.5 points.
Colby's 400 freestyle relay team of Courtney Chilcote, Kelsey Potdevin, Danielle Carlson and Norsworthy finished seventh in 3:41.48.
Norsworthy will compete at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships from March 8-10 at the University of Houston.
