HOUSTON, Texas --- Colby College's Kelly Norsworthy placed 10th in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:21.42 at the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday night.
Norsworthy helped the Mules place in a tie for 13th overall at the national meet with 69 points. Norsworthy, who was fourth in the 100 breaststroke on Friday night, swam in the consolation final after posting a preliminary time of 2:23.11. She placed second in the consolation final (places 9 to 16) to Kenyon's Jessica Connors (2:20.79). Kaitlyn Orstein of Washington & Jefferson won the national title in 2:17.36. Colby's 400 freestyle relay team of Danielle Carlson, Kelsey Potdevin, Courtney Chilcote and Maddie Given was 16th in 3:42.14. The points helped the Mules get into 13th place.
