Four women's swimmers honored by NESCAC

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Kelly Norsworthy, Kelsey Potdevin, Courtney Chilcote, and Maddie Given each earned New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Swimming All-Conference honors.

Norsworthy earned four honors in the 50-yard breaststroke (29.65), 100 breaststroke (1:05.49), 200 breaststroke (2:23.56), and 200 medley relay for finishing in the top three at the NESCAC meet. Potdevin had honors in the 50 backstroke and 200 medley relay. Chilcote and Given were both part of the 200 medley relay.

Norsworthy, who has had numerous All-America honors, won all three NESCAC breaststroke races as a junior. She was fourth in the 100 breaststroke at the NCAA meet after finishing third as a first-year swimmer and second as a sophomore. She also took second in the 200 breaststroke at the national meet during her sophomore season.

Potdevin won the 50 backstroke at this year's NESCAC meet with a time of 27.09.

Chilcote and Given joined forces with Norsworthy and Potdevin to take third place in the 200 medley relay in 1:48.09.
