Vassallo fourth in 5,000 meters at Open NE

BOSTON, Mass. --- Colby College's Dan Vassallo placed fourth out of 30 finishers in the men's 5,000-meter run at the Open New England Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday night.
Vassallo was the top Division III finisher with a time of 14:46.79. The Colby men's distance medley relay team placed 10th out of 20 schools in 10:16.53. The Colby women's distance medley relay team was ninth with a 12:15.29.
