TERRE HAUTE, Ind. --- Colby College senior Karen Prisby (Cathedral/Agawam, Mass.) finished in sixth place and earned All-America honors in the women's 5,000-meter run at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.
Prisby set a new Colby indoor record with a time of 17:05.73. She went into the race seeded seventh with a best time of 17:17.62 set at the Valentines Classic at Boston University earlier this season. Prisby has now earned All-America honors twice in cross country and now with an indoor event. The race had a New England Small College Athletic Conference feel to it with Wesleyan University's Ellen Davis winning in 16:43.73.
