DMR team takes seventh at NCAA meet

ADA, Ohio --- The Colby College distance medley relay team of Liz Petit, Laura Pomponi, Emma Linhard, and Anna King earned All-America honors by placing seventh in the event Friday night at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at Ohio Northern University.

The Colby women came into the meet seeded 10th in the event and needed to get at least to eighth place to earn All-America honors. The foursome accomplished that by running a time of 12:10.60. Petit ran the 1,200 meters, Pomponi the 400, Linhard the 800, and King the mile.
