CLERMONT, Fla. --- Anna King and Devan FitzPatrick were winners for the Colby College women's outdoor track and field team and Ian London and Madison Gouzie earned victories for the men at the National Training Center Collegiate Series meet on Saturday.
King had an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 10:58.64 in winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the Colby women. FitzPatrick won the 1,500 meters in 4:53.71.
The Colby women received seconds from Brianna Tufts in the 1,500 meters (5:03.81), Naomi Wilson in the 400 meters (1:05.76), Cassie Knight in the steeplechase (11:50.97), Erin Beasley in the 200 dash (28.03), Kirsten Davis in the high jump (4-10.25), Brianna Kondrat in the discus (119-7, personal best)) and shot put (36-5), and Melissa Cianciolo in the hammer throw (140-4) and the javelin (114-0).
London won the men's 1,500 meters in 4:04.64 and Gouzie took the 400 hurdles with a 57.30.
The Colby men got seconds from Dan Vassallo in the 1,500 meters (4:10.47), Roy Wilson in the 100 dash (11.84), Bob Glotfelty in the 800 meters (1:59.77), and Chris DeRoo in the 200 dash (24.44).
