Sheppard fourth in high jump at Open NE meet

NEW HAVEN, Conn. --- Danielle Sheppard was fourth in the high jump and Emma Linhard took ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the Colby College women at the Open New England Track and Field Championships at Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday.

Sheppard had a leap of 5-feet, 5-inches, while Linhard had a 11:02.54 clocking in the steeplechase race.

In men's competition, Dylan Nisky took 20^th place in the 800 meters in 1:56.24 and Andy Maguire was 23^rd in the steeplechase with a 10:03.89 for Colby.
